Knock, Knock, Knockin'
From the What’s HapPINin blog on Disneypins.com:
Here’s a look at a unique boxed set designed for Disney Summer Pin Festival 2009 – The Haunted Mansion O-pin House:
Fans of The Haunted Mansion® Attraction will recognize the design of the box from the doors found in the famous Corridor of Doors scene, where the ghosts attempt to get through locked doors. The box opens to reveal five pins based on artwork also found in that scene including some of the Marc Davis paintings and the “Tomb Sweet Tomb” needlepoint. The boxed set also includes a nice surprise; the front knocker on the box is a pin as well! The knocker is hinged and works just like the knocker in the attraction. . .well except this one doesn’t move on it’s own. We were working on a “ghost with purchase” promotion, but unfortunately those playful spooks are far too busy scaring guests at The Haunted Mansion® Attraction.
