From What’s HapPINing Blog: Since the posting of the Silent Auction Preview yesterday, we had a question about the Time Capsule featured in Lot 14. What is the difference between the final version versus the first sample? “Striations,” said Jeanne Lewis, the developer who created the item. “The biggest difference is the lines or pattern. We removed it from the final sample opting the make it all silver.” Here are some pictures of the differences. The left image is the final version while the right image is the auction lot version. And we would be remiss if we didn’t wish Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room a happy anniversary. It opened on this date in 1963 and it is still one of our favorite attractions.
